Two Classifications
Throughout the Ages and irrespective of what God’s Word, the Holy Bible, declares about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, humanity has mentally and emotionally configured their own concept of each. Also, they have consigned people to belong to a multitude of Classifications of ‘favor’ or ‘disfavor’ as seen by the god of their own creation. God though, knows Himself and has depicted Himself as is identified in His Only Word, the Holy Bible and views people not as we do, but as belonging to one of only Two Classifications.
From God’s perspective, people have personally chosen to become a Biblically defined ‘Child of God’ or they haven’t. That is, they’ve personally chosen to become one of God’s Spiritual Realm Creations by becoming Born Again or, also by choice… and make no mistake, the choice to remain ignorant is a choice… they’ve personally elected to remain the mere Biological, Physical Realm Creation bestowed upon them at conception. (See… Two Realms)
It’s important to remind you that from the standpoint of God’s Word, the Holy Bible, not only God’s history, but His present and His future is founded in timeless Eternity. Eternity is recognized as existing in and becoming born out of His Spiritual Realm. Heaven then, is accessible only by those who have chosen to gain access to that Realm by becoming Spiritual Realm Creations. When a person has become born, they were born of flesh and water. When they become Born Again, they become born of God’s Spirit. Thus, they only then become God’s own children; Born Again Spiritual Realm Creations. (Salvation)

God, Himself, Sees Only Two Classifications
God recognizes only Two Classifications of people. You have become a Child of God by having become Saved or, you are not a Child of God because you have refused to become Born Again. The instrument employed to leave your biologically limited life behind and become a spiritually birthed Child of God is your having become ‘Born Again’ according to God’s Biblical definition. (Salvation)
We each have ideas of how things work in the spiritual arena of life. And like you and I, nearly everyone else in the entire history of man has at one point or other come to the conclusion that spiritual things ‘work’ or are ‘applicable’ according only to whatever best fits their worldview and/or lifestyle. Considering the entirety of any known spectrum of thought on any spiritual subject known to man… from people to people throughout the Ages to say nothing about the perspectives from God to satan, to Forgiveness, to bitterness and hate, etc., there are as many categories of thought as there have been people on Planet Earth.
During the final adjudication though, regarding how spiritual things actually work… neither the number of people nor their respective varieties of thought actually initiated the compositional structure God, Himself, inspired concerning the identity and application of the Spiritual mandates of life. Look at it this way… in that mankind differs so, doesn’t it make sense to conclude that whatever considerations mankind has come to with respect to how Godly inspired spiritual things work… or even how God views them as individuals… if their conclusion of those considerations is void of the reality of God’s own design, then by definition… man’s conclusions are in error. After all, if one not only avoids the reality of the workings of God’s own Spiritual Realm design, how can he or she possibly imagine they have a true handle on how the spiritual applications of life, work?
In the end, because we can be sure the numbers of categories of thought are at least somewhat equal to the number of people who have ever lived, void of Biblical Doctrine, mankind’s version of the reality of God as well as mankind’s version of the way in which God views us can’t be counted on as factual. (Jer 17: 9)
But, God cuts the fluff, the speculations, the theories as well as any and all justifications we each might entertain. Through His Word God teaches us that if we truly desire to live by Truth, our thoughts, our ideals and promotions, et al, should begin and end with those things God, Himself, has defined as real; as truly important. That is, the reality that He alone identifies people not by our various categories of thought. Rather, as each is found to reside within only Two Classifications of person-hood. We are as individuals, His Born Again Child, or we are not. Period. End of Story.
From God’s perspective, the bottom line is that regardless of how we’d like this or that to apply to our lives, if we do not personally investigate His Standard sufficiently well enough to comprehend and then successfully join the Standard of His Existence, that is…
a) Have personally chosen to become Born Again Spiritual Realm Creations? ( Born Again ) Rather than,
b) Having personally chosen to remain merely the biological product of Physical Realm handiwork? ( Not Born Again ) What have we accomplished in life that would even remotely suggest we are en-route toward God’s Eternity in Heaven? The bottom line is that if we’ve limited ourselves by choosing to remain mere biological creatures, then in the end… all our mental inventions and speculations are mere fluff. They remain unproven theories and conjectures. All such non Biblical wishes will turn out for naught. So then, doesn’t it amount to incredible foolishness when we refuse to… personally investigate …provable Biblical issues in favor of continuing to choose ignorance as our own foundation of life? Inasmuch as God specifically identifies us to be living within only one of those Two Classifications of people, wouldn’t it be a good idea to resolve to investigate and discover where the reality of ‘Truth‘ actually resides? And by so doing become better able to comprehend what the Bible has to say about such things? (Matt 25: 31-33) And then begin to construct our lives accordingly? God’s idea for the development of your positive future is that you make the positive choice to employ the use of the brain He gave you. That means that you read and study… without using …the same mind with the same concepts of the Spiritual Realm you might have developed as a child. Rather, that you employ all faculties currently available within your (presumably inquisitive) adult mind. Have you studied the Bible using your adult mind? Or, do you yet retain the ideological outlook about Biblical things that you had as a child who, obviously, was unable to grasp a more complete and definitive understand of such things. Do you still allow only the information you received with a child’s mind to lead your understanding about Biblical matters? Is such a position an example of adult wisdom? Friend, honestly now… The second part of such a question, of course, is Really now… have you honestly studied God’s spiritual aspects of life If you believe you are a New Creation en-route toward Heaven, Are you really a ‘New Creation’? Consider this… another way we might more truly identify our position before God is to recognize that if we are inclined to believe God holds us dear as His New Creation, should we not then also identify with His primary goal for all humanity? That is, first of all strive to establish the exhibit of our lives as an example for others toward their own Salvation? (Matt 6:10) Rather than viewing this question from the perspective suggesting the entirety of our current life displays glory to God though, let’s recognize that such a person is acutely rare to find. (Rom 3:10) Nevertheless, rather than using that as an excuse, to better identify how we right now might stand before God’s eye, let’s break the question down a bit. Typically, does the current exhibit of your life suggest you provide even as little as two point five percent (2.5%) of your time specifically making yourself available for His work that He might use you in an effort to reach someone else for their Salvation? Family, friends, neighbors, work mates, et al, that by the example of the exhibit of your life they might at the very least be lead toward further investigating the concept of Salvation; or encouraged therein? This line of thought logically, and reasonably, brings to the fore the question, ‘If I am a New Creation, does God know it by my actions as a reflection of Jesus’? Consider:… Luke 10: 38-42 Doesn’t God teach us to endeavor toward becoming more like Mary than to remain as seemingly limited in overall perspective as the exhibit of that aspect of Martha’s life suggested? That is, isn’t it better to principally focus on the aspects of life that are most important to Jesus? Martha you remember, largely put God’s higher goals secondary to what she felt were life’s more immediate concerns. While most certainly Saved and en route toward Heaven, rather than being principally inclined to avail herself to life as Jesus was teaching it, the Bible indicates she was, at least at that time, primarily inclined to more diligently focus only on the quite necessary ‘housekeeping aspect’ of Physical Creation. While the importance of housekeeping is vital and cannot be downplayed, doesn’t it make sense that God foremost wants us to maintain our focus on Jesus and His all inclusive Will for our lives? Only secondarily, the otherwise very important tasks required for normal day to day living? Doesn’t it make sense that God’s desire for us is rather than living our lives centered around the focal point of accomplishing just the essentials required to provide or enhance day to day living, He foremost desires that we live the example of our lives centered around the focal point of nurturing our families, friends and neighbors toward a Biblical understanding of God? After all, how long are we here on Earth -vs- how long is Eternity? (James 4:13-15) Don’t misunderstand! While the accomplishment of the physical housekeeping essentials (job, food, shelter, etc.) must be recognized as unquestionably vital toward human progression, doesn’t it make sense things of that nature should only be considered the day to day steps requirements of existence? Existing and enhancing our day to day existence not being the ultimate goal? In God’s economy, doesn’t it make sense the primary purpose of their importance is to help us perhaps more quickly and energetically move toward making known His greater goal for the whole of mankind? That is, Salvation? (Matt 6:25-34) How does God view the performance of your day to day essentials? Are you principally focused on enhancing your day to day living essentials? Or, are they merely a stepping stone toward enhancing your ability to be able to guide more and more people toward their acceptance of the necessity of becoming Born Again? Normally, don’t most of us have it backwards? Don’t our thoughts generally seem to be more focused on working out the enhancement our Physical Realm existence? Don’t we usually encase our thinking foremost toward things such as the acquisition of a good job, food on the table, shelter, a car, boat or whatever? Each of those and more being the primary purpose for the daily demonstration of our lives? Admittedly, and unfortunately, among some ‘religious’ groups, an exaggeration of this line of thought might be those who are commonly referred to as the ‘name it and claim it’ church crowd. In a general sense, they are taught to believe that having the best advantage of Physical Realm existence proves the authenticity of their being a true ‘Born Again Believer’. They even proclaim the robe of Jesus was the finest of it’s time and those willing to serve Him another indication of not only His good teaching, but of His wealth. Their doctrine is largely concentrated around the idea that prosperity (money or the evidence of money) equates to the receipt of God given rewards for living a ‘higher’ form of ‘Godliness’. Even given the God ordained necessity of taking care of the housekeeping and often mundane aspects of life, don’t the below noted words forever carved in history by Missionary Jim Elliot more certainly reflect a far better understanding of that which is God’s better goal for us? ‘He is no fool Is your day to day life’s example one wherein you foremost seek those things in life which will eventually only rot away? (Matt 6:19-21 / Prov 10:7) Or, have you ‘given’ that which you cannot keep (anyway) for the furtherance of making Jesus known to those you have the ability to touch? To what degree have you given toward His service the greater margins of that which you cannot keep… up to your very life? Thankfully, unlike Jim Elliot and those who sacrificed themselves along with him, most of us do not find ourselves in a position through which we might physically die for the purpose of fulfilling our service toward God. And although that’s what ‘up to your very life’ is most generally… thought …to mean, it really isn’t. The Bible speaks foremost of giving things up in the sense that a Believer becomes willing to give up his or her typical day to day life routine, his or her typical way of doing things for the service of God. And yes, that surely includes our recurrent refusal to strive toward becoming a more resolute living example of Jesus for the sake of those we know. Specifically concerning how others might view and/or condemn us for our reflection of Jesus, giving up anything and everything in order to establish within the deepest part of our character the better ‘heart and soul’ of what others might consider life being all about… Jesus and becoming Born Again. If not ‘everything’, what portion of ‘up to your very life’ have you regularly given for the spiritual growth of your spouse, family as well as perhaps your friends, neighbors or workmates that each might more clearly see the living reality of Jesus and God’s Word in you? Have you daily given up even 2.5% of your time and energy for that purpose? Two point five percent only equals about 36 minutes a day. A little over one television sitcom. About half a lunch hour. Or, perhaps rather than daily… have you chosen to take part of one day a week to provide a Biblically based service? That’s just a little over four hours on a Saturday. Have you even given up 2.5% of your time in order to read and study the Bible for your own personal growth in Him? Is 2.5% too much time to give He who has Saved you unto Heaven for all Eternity? How Much Time Do We Have To Do The Right Thing? Now let’s ‘fine tune’ this concept down a bit more in order to ensure it falls into the realm of reality… What portion of your day to day life is wholly dedicated to God and the fulfillment of His primary goal that ‘no one should perish’? (Matt 5:16, Titus 2) Two point five percent equates to only 24 minutes each day based on your being awake 16 hours per day. Really now… with the certainty of the ‘Lord, Lord’ verses of Matthew 7:21 – 23 – noted below in mind, take some time and sincerely think about it. In the privacy of your own mind, yet recognizing you are also right now surely in the presence of God, determine your honest answer. Considering the question of offering to God only 2.5 percent of your time, are you in any type of direct personal ministry, i.e. allowing God to work through you for just 24 minutes per day?

if you are not by God’s definition a New Creation…
doesn’t it make sense that with respect to Spiritual considerations
it is the mind of a child to which you quite probably still cling?

God’s Spiritual Realm as it is specifically defined in the Bible?

are you a New Creation according to God’s specific Directive to become Born Again?
(Salvation)… If not according to God’s specific Directive
then according to God’s Declaration as provided in the Bible… you are fooling yourself.
Is fooling yourself a Standard of a child’s mind? Or of an adult’s mind?
( Luke 10: 38-42)
who gives what he cannot keep
to gain what He cannot lose.’

But really, don’t get caught up in the numbers! God doesn’t want that! Minutes only equate to ‘time value’ and not the far more important ‘heart value’. Even so, I’ve found this concept to be a great self examination tool.
What does God desire of you… ‘time’ or ‘heart’? It’s your heart, of course. But, we have to be careful because most of us think we have a good, dutiful heart. (Matthew 15:8) Thankfully, God understands our failings. So don’t get tied up around the 24 minute concept. After all, if you are putting in the 24 minutes, but your heart is not really reflecting the honorable character of Jesus… what’s the point? In God’s economy, it could well be your becoming instrumental toward leading just one single person more closely toward accepting Jesus as their Savior far outweighs even great numbers of 24 minute sequences. Rather than this outweighing heart -vs- time though, shouldn’t we begin to more closely focus on the fact we are to be 100% His, anyway? Twenty four/seven?
But for a minute, let’s consider ‘heart value’ alone. Take a few moments and determine what percentage of each day you wholly dedicate your life toward becoming an honest reflection of the heart of Jesus. No airs, no self glory, etc. The goal being that God might use your… lifestyle …as an inspiration for others for the purpose that they might then desire to more closely seek Him for their own Salvation. Or, the nurturing of their already established Salvation and faith.
In your day to day exhibit of life, what or whom do you typically reflect? Does the example of your life promote the validity of Jesus Christ? Or, something at variance with Jesus. Yes friend, apathy and silence along with not even advancing your own Bible education do indeed fall into the latter category. Thus, action is important! Are you a positive example for the furtherance of the goal of Jesus that no one should perish? How do twenty five percent of the people you encounter each day see you reflecting? OK then, how are you perceived by only two point five percent of the people you meet daily?
Please also read the attached subject matter relative to: ‘So… You think you are Saved’. Throughout your reading, honestly ask yourself if you really are His ‘salt’, His ‘Light for the world’. His ‘city that cannot be hidden’? If you see yourself as not so positively representing Jesus according to those Biblical texts, what ‘Classification of People’ then, do you imagine God views you as belonging? Friend, it’s important that we each determine all throughout our lives where our standing with God is.
Coming Full Circle…
Now pretend you will in this next moment… die. No chance to mend things. No chance to change. My friend, where are you right this minute with respect to the statement of Jesus as He specifically declares in Matthew 7:21…
“Not everyone who says to Me,
‘Lord, Lord,’
shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who – - does – - the will of My Father in heaven.”
Based not at all merely on your undoubtedly earnest desire to go to Heaven, but on the actual exhibit of your prevailing lifestyle as it relates to God’s Biblical criterion beginning with, but not necessarily ending with your becoming ‘Born Again’, within which of God’s Two Classifications of People do you honestly believe you right now this minute enjoin?
According to your actual exhibit of life, does your lifestyle portray you as a ‘Participating’ Christian? Or, are you more truly identifiable as a ‘Spectator’, ‘Bystander’, ‘Non Participating’ or in the unlikely event God accepts the proxy that there is such a thing as a ‘nominal’ Christian? Do you suppose those latter four identifications enjoin people who are, or are not going to Heaven? Does the Bible indicate people of the last four categories are appropriately identified by God to be ‘Sons’ or ‘Daughters’ of God… thereby assured of Heaven? Search out the Bible for definitive answers concerning your answer. (You might wish to Begin Here.) After all, our Eternity surely does depend on His Standard, not ours.
With Biblical certainty, do you know if you are going to Heaven? Or, do you only earnestly hope you are Saved? If you only hope… does that mean it’s simply easier to think along those lines than to acknowledge what should become deeper thoughts… those which teach you what your honest Classification just might be? And, if you really don’t want to think along those lines, could it understandably be that you don’t wish to as closely examine yourself as God, of course, is? If your honest, deeper thoughts reflect a question mark, does that mean you are perhaps only fooling yourself and you just might fall in among the huge group of people to whom God is speaking in the, ‘Lord, Lord’ verses? Is it wise to remain in such a position? Even ignorant of whether or not you fall into such a position? And again, isn’t the ‘fooling yourself’ position… born of childish thoughts? Or a reasonable, thinking adult? Surely friend, a concerted investigation of what the Bible actually says and how the exhibit of your life stands up to it… is important. Especially now as we are drawing near The End.
How do you analyze your own performance in life? Do you actually ‘do’ His Will? If in the privacy of your own mind honesty is esteemed… most generally, are you more truly a ‘hearer‘, only? (James 1:23-25 / Rev 3:16) Using God’s criterion and His criterion alone then, are you a Biblically declared Born Again Spiritual Being?
Now the Big Question:
What do you intend to actually do
about this current self analysis you’ve just made?
Will you actually do anything different
than you normally do?
If today you were one of the three hanging on the cross,
Upon which Cross does the current exhibit of your life hang?
Friend, each one of us is now on the cross.
Do we identify with Him… or is the exhibit of our life – far removed?
