The Unpardonable Sin – The Unforgivable Sin
Each Page you find under this overall heading will provide you vital information pursuant to the teachings of God’s Word, the Holy Bible, as it pertains to ‘The Unpardonable, Unforgivable Sin’.
Please be aware that unlike any other time in the history of mankind…
you do NOT have a lot of time left to investigate the issue
and take the Biblically Ordained steps necessary
to ensure you do not commit what God, Himself, defines as…
that most evil of all sins.
God’s Word, the Holy Bible,
speaks definitively about End Times.
We are right now very close to The End.
Any reasonable, thinking person… by reason of having even an elementary understanding of Biblical Prophesy (which was written between 2,000 and 4,000 years ago) can easily discern by simply watching the evening news, listening to the radio or reading the current newspapers the unfolding of specific events proclaimed in His Word to occur at the beginning of The End Times. Friend, those Prophetic events are actually coming to fruition all around the World, today. Before your very eyes. Therefore, you do not have much time left to become absolutely certain you will not have committed The Unforgivable Sin.
For easy reference regarding irrefutable, definitive aspects revealing the fact that we are today experiencing the latter part of End Times Bible Prophesy you may wish to review a ‘short list’ of… Most Obvious Signs. For an even more specific, but not all inclusive list of recently FULFILLED End Times Bible Prophesies I encourage you to take a look at… Grant Jeffrey’s Studies. For an understanding of how Modern Science, especially by the use of modern technology over the last few decades, has quite literally proven the existence of what vast numbers, if not the majority of prominent Scientists are calling Intelligent Design you may wish to review… Non Believer.

Have I Already Committed
The Unforgivable Sin?
The Unforgivable Sin and the Unpardonable Sin are one in the same. Never, ever, even consider the idea that because God is always willing to forgive any and every sin while we yet live on Earth… He will even consider forgiving you if you commit the Unforgivable Sin. His Word solemnly declares that that level of forgiveness absolutely will not happen! God will not prove Himself to be a liar.
While you yet live on Earth God will, upon seeing your sincerely repentant heart, continue along the manner He has always employed and will ALWAYS forgive you of whatever sin you commit no matter how many times you already have or will continue to commit it. Period. End of Story. Obviously though, once your physical body has died and your spirit has departed what we know as Earth… His willingness to forgive you of your earthly sins will entirely cease. God, Himself, declares that forgiveness for your earthly sins from the point of your death forward will never, ever for… any …reason be granted. No second chances! Bluntly, that means that unless you’ve obtained His forgiveness during the time you spend on earth you will have consigned yourself to an Eternity in Hell with zero possibility for reconsideration or release. God is extremely adamant about that. So much so that throughout the entirety of His Word, the Holy Bible, above all else He does His very best to convey to us our extreme jeopardy if we persist toward and then actually commit the Unforgivable Sin. Do you think God is a liar? Do you think the Authority of His Word, The Holy Bible, is filled with lies and that you can pick and choose only those things in it with which you wish to abide?
IMPORTANT ASIDE: It’s important to realize that while ‘taking The Mark’ during the soon to arrive Tribulation Period does indeed equate to your then committing the Unforgivable Sin, The Mark itself is not in a definitive sense the Unforgivable Sin. Obviously, in that the Holy Bible teaches that throughout history people have been in jeopardy of committing it… The Mark then, is NOT exclusively that sin. Therefore, never be swayed by that argument. You CAN commit that horrific sin even now… right this moment… even before The Mark will be introduced for mankind’s acceptance. It is vital therefore, that you learn what particulars surround your commission of the Unpardonable Sin… and take specific steps to avoid committing it. Not ‘try to avoid’. AVOID!
Your ability to follow God’s Ordained Path through which you will assuredly avoid committing the Unforgivable Sin is specifically detailed in God’s Word, the Holy Bible. Doesn’t it make sense then, to make as a priority in life your willingness to both ‘learn’ what it is and then ‘do’ whatever you must do in order to avoid committing it? (Willingness) Rightly so! Not only for your sake then, but for the sake of your loved ones who look to you for guidance… discovering what The Unforgivable Sin is and how to avoid it should be life’s priority. After all, Eternity is forever. Where will you spend yours? Make no mistake, the entire question, of course, is whether or not you will not only resolve to accept the Biblically definition of the Unpardonable Sin, but to actually… do …whatever it takes to avoid committing it. Make sense?
God’s Holy Word defines The Unpardonable Sin – The Unforgivable Sin as ‘Blaspheming The Holy Spirit’. Even more definitively, that is: dying without accepting Jesus Christ as Your Personal Savior. (Salvation) Jesus Christ, after all, is the only Mediator between man and God. (1 Timothy 2:5) Moreover, God, Himself, consigned Jesus Christ to die on The Cross as the ONLY acceptable payment for each and every sin committed by all mankind, past, present and future. To reject Jesus Christ as your Savior then, is to spurn 1) God’s Purpose, 2) Jesus’ willing sacrifice and, 3) reject The Authority of His Holy Word within which He explains how it all works. To refuse to become Born Again is to reject the principle purpose of further developing the relationship between God and man. (…Pointedly…)
Matthew 12:31-32 NIV
And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men,
but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven,
but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven,
either in this age or in the age to come.
Before we get into further discussion regarding the Biblical definition of the Unforgivable Sin, let’s take a moment to review what might be God’s most refreshing, if not all encompassing ‘love’ declaration for all mankind. One of many declarations which display God’s willingness to never give up on us. To always ‘be there’ for us. To always be willing to forgive us our sins. Understanding the seriousness God declares by reason of The Unforgivable Sin, it is also important to understand that throughout the Holy Bible God declares His love. The following verse is an example of what should surely put to rest any question of whether or not God is forever interested and willing to forgive and to Save you while you yet live on Earth.
2 Peter 3:9 NKJV
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise,
as some count slackness,
but is long-suffering toward us,
not willing that any should perish
but that all should come to repentance.
The key word above is ‘any’. ‘Any’ means that God has structured things so not one single person is able to be left out of His expressed desire, i.e…. ‘[He is] not willing that any should perish’. Inclusive in that pronouncement is the logical conclusion that no one can accidentally or even inadvertently commit what God has determined to be the most heinous crime committed against Him. If God has allowed for even a remote possibility that anyone could inadvertently or by accident perish, especially by reason of committing the Unforgivable Sin, then His Own Words declaring, ‘He is not willing’… are bare-faced lies.
After all, if God allowed even the possibility that ‘accidents happen’… what would He then say, ‘Oh, I’m sorry, you’ve committed the most horrid of all sins because I forgot to close a loophole. I’m really not willing that any should perish, but in your case I guess I blew it.’ ??? Because most people choose to remain unfamiliar with God’s Word, the Holy Bible, it’s easy for them to assume that when it comes down to it anyone really could inadvertently commit that great sin. Lest we forget though, God is in charge. When He says, ‘He is not willing…’ then He already has all the safeguards in place. He will not be called a liar. Therefore, no one can accidentally or inadvertently commit that sin. If such a thing could occur, then both God and His entire Word are not fact, but more than entirely suspect. The Biblically defined fact is that people of their own accord… personally choose …to remain ignorant and by so doing willingly choose to commit The Unforgivable Sin.
However, in that God and His Word are entirely true… and make no mistake about that… though someone might embrace a willingness to have nothing to do with God, still, not one single person is, has ever been or will ever be able to conclusively commit the Unpardonable Sin at any time throughout their entire lifetime up to the moment of their own death. Not accidentally. Nor inadvertently. If they could, then how can God honorably declare He is not willing that any would perish? Especially when in fact He created the opportunity for them to do so?
The bottom line then, is that God’s Word is entirely true. So then, we cannot inadvertently or by accident commit this most grievous sin during our lifetime. Rather, we willingly do so by choice. By choosing to remain ignorant of what the Holy Bible actually declares on the subject. Or, by choosing to avoid becoming Born Again.
How is this Biblically proven?
First off, rest assured. If you are alive and reading this then you don’t have to worry. The Bible EXPLICITLY and repeatedly teaches that if you are able to breathe, much less think, consider, reason, discern, etc, then you have not yet committed the Unpardonable Sin. And without even knowing you, any Biblically literate Believer you might ever seek counsel from is entirely able, from a Biblical foundation, to absolutely guarantee you God’s Truth that you are yet safe. NOTE: I said, ‘yet’. Note also that I said ‘safe’. I did not say, ‘Saved’. Safe, meaning you still have time to reconcile things with God by becoming Born Again (Salvation) because you’ve not yet committed the Unforgivable Sin.
Throughout the Bible, God clearly and concisely declares you are not to worry about having… already committed …the Unpardonable Sin. God, Himself, emphatically declares you HAVE NOT ! That, because God further declares that the ONLY time, the ONLY moment in your entire lifetime you are able to commit the Unforgivable Sin is… at the very instant of your death.
You see, from a Biblical perspective…
If you had already committed the Unpardonable Sin,
you could not even read this because you’d already be dead!
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT POINT:
That is not to say God will keep you alive until you condescend to
… …Personally Investigate… …
His easily verifiable reality.
Period. End of Story.
Friend, even if you right now this minute don’t yet have the slightest bit of Biblical knowledge, before you finish this and the associated Pages providing you with an extremely basic education on this subject, you’ll be able to positively conclude that from a purely Biblical standpoint – you have not yet committed the Unpardonable Sin. No matter what anyone else might ever tell you. (Probably more importantly, what your… unstudied self …tries to tell you on the subject. SUGGESTION: Go with education, not speculation… which by definition can’t help but be largely inclusive of guesswork, i.e. that which is less than fact.)
As much relief as knowing you’ve not yet committed the Unforgivable Sin might now provide you though, you should not simply rest with that knowledge. To do so may well mean you are subconsciously telling yourself to continue to live near to the worldview and mindset you now retain. (Romans12:2) After all, you are not dead, yet. Do you know when you are going to die? Do you know that in that last moment prior to committing the Unforgivable Sin you will have the mental and emotional clarity to become Born Again? Likely not! Heart attack? Car wreck? Terrorist bombing? Friend… you are foolish if you keep putting off your principle obligation before God which equates to your becoming acceptable in the only manner God offers for entry into Heaven. That is, becoming Born Again. (2 Corinthians 6:2)
Recognize… the Unpardonable Sin is in a ‘class’ of sin all by itself!!! It is unlike any other sin you will ever have to grapple with. The reason it is, unlike most sins, is there is nothing ‘hap and chance’ to your being able to commit this one. While you can willfully, accidentally or even inadvertently commit every single other sin in existence, God’s has orchestrated His Word to reflect the choice of committing this worst of all sins can only be by means of… your own premeditated decision. You alone choose to become Born Again… or you refuse. Therefore, you alone choose to commit the Unforgivable Sin… or you refuse. As a result, you alone choose Heaven or Hell… with FULL knowledge of doing it! In His Word, the Holy Bible, God lays it out plain as day and you have your entire lifetime to determine whether or not you will commit it. Obviously, that means that if you choose to commit the Unforgivable Sin, you will have no excuse before God. Apathy is not an excuse. God has designed that particular sin and your acceptance or rejection of it in such a manner that it is completely impossible to commit it by accident… its commission is entirely YOUR choice. Just like you and I have the Free Choice to accept Jesus as our Savior or reject Him, God has also in that same integral manner given us our Free Choice to reject committing the Unforgivable Sin… or commit it. (The two choices, obviously, are integral to one-another.) Unlike every other sin we might commit by ignorance, apathy or will… you and I are completely and personally responsible for our decisions on this matter. It is only by willful intent that you can commit this which God, Himself, has identified is the worst sin you could ever commit against Him. Therefore, from His perspective, it is the Unpardonable Sin and there is no excuse! And there is no forgiveness!
Think about it. Because the penalty for this sin is the most extra-ordinary of all penalties,
i.e. our personally choosing an Eternity in Hell with no possibility of reprieve…
Isn’t it only fair God would lay it out in such a manner?
Placing in our own hands the… sole determination …of our Eternal future?
Of course!
What else would a loving God
who, like you, is not desirous of returned ‘robotic’ love, do?
By setting this system up in this manner
no one throughout all Eternity will be able to rationally think, much less suggest,
that God is a ‘power hungry moron declaring it is my way or the highway’.
God, Himself, has given each and every one of us the unchangeable choice
of where we will spend our Eternity.
That choice is… entirely …ours to make.
Doesn’t it make sense then, to avail yourself toward obtaining an extra-ordinarily detailed, yet at the same time a very simple education about it? About what it is, how it is committed and about why you should never commit it? In that God is more fair than you or I, He has in effect, ‘gone overboard’ in the sense that He has made available to us nearly a full lifetime of knowledge about how to avoid committing that sin. Thus, given the fact you have throughout the entirety of your lifetime the ability to avoid committing the Unpardonable Sin by acting on even a small part of the information available, that particular sin will never catch you ‘off guard’. You cannot commit the Unforgivable Sin accidentally. You can never inadvertently commit that sin. Friend, if life long you choose to avoid acting on the principle responsibility God lays before us… that is, becoming Born Again, (John 3:3) then you’ll have absolutely no excuse on Judgment Day. And no second chance. God designed it that way.
Friend, God gave us a brain that we might resolve to use it wisely as we investigate the many considerations which come before us in life. Chief, of course, is the question of whether or not we are going to commit the Unforgivable Sin, i.e. whether we will choose to become Born Again, or not.
God hopes that we’ll properly use our brain in the sense that at any and all crossroads we come to in life, spiritual or not, we’ll strive to search out and gain a good understanding of relevant facts and the truths which surround those facts. That we’ll never cease to pursue an even greater understanding of whatever question at hand. From God’s perspective, that, of course, is especially true when making the personal choice to pursue an understanding of God, Biblical Fact and the Truths the Holy Bible holds.
With respect to the Unforgivable Sin, when by your investigation and study you begin to fully recognize there is no way in the world you’ve yet committed that worst of all sins, God hopes you will take the appropriate steps necessary to ensure you do in fact… Even More Completely Investigate The Holy Bible. Doesn’t it make sense that with greater knowledge and understanding you’ll be able to make the right choice on anything you face? Of course. And that is certainly true with respect to how to avoid ultimately committing the Unpardonable Sin! (Hosea 4:6)
Friend, whether you want to hear it… or not: Your solemn, heartfelt decision whether or not to become Born Again through Jesus Christ according to John 3:3 is more firmly integral to your committing the Unforgivable Sin than breathing is integral to your remaining alive on this Planet. If you die in your sin of rejecting Jesus by refusing to accept Him as your Savior by becoming Born Again, you will have only then irrevocably committed The Unpardonable, The Unforgivable Sin. And you cannot become Born Again after your life on Earth has come to a close. You must do it while you yet live. Again… do you know when you are going to die???
Your refusal to accept Jesus the Christ as your Savior then,
- – - – - is – - – - –
the Unpardonable, the Unforgivable Sin.
You MUST become Born Again in order to avoid God’s Wrath.
John 3:3 NIV
In reply Jesus declared,
“I tell you the truth,
no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.”
1 Tim 2: 5 NIV
For there is one God and one mediator
between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus,
Acts 16: 30-31 NIV
He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31 They replied,
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved
— you and your household.”
If you choose to continue through life without Jesus as your Savior
and die without Jesus,
you will have committed the Unforgivable Sin.
And because you are then dead…
you will have no second chances.
Make no mistake:
God solemnly declares that
neither apathy nor ignorance is an excuse.
If you are not now Born Again, I hope the bit of education offered within this and the following few Pages as well as recommended Sites, pod casts, related articles, etc. will prompt you toward resolving to gain a deeper Biblical understanding of what God, Jesus and the Bible are all about in order to avoid what otherwise… surely will come. That is, you dying without fully addressing the issue of Salvation as it is… specifically prescribed …by God in His Own Word, the Holy Bible.
If you die without Jesus,
you will have committed the Unforgivable Sin.
You will then have absolutely no hope for Heaven.
Unless of course, God is a liar.
Friend, it’s not difficult to become properly educated. But, it is your choice. All you need do is resolve to learn. And there are many Biblically identified avenues by which you are able to learn. The most vital thing you must remember during your learning process though, is to… ALWAYS …go straight to the Holy Bible for straight information. Double check what anyone and everyone teaches you about what the Holy Bible is suppose to say. Don’t take anyone’s word for it. God, in fact, declares you will become of ‘noble character‘ when you… personally investigate …even the words and writings of whomever teacher you hear. (Acts 17:11) God… NEVER …wants you to forfeit the effective use of the brain He has given you in favor of taking even a Pastor or Priest’s word for what the Holy Bible has to say. While there is absolutely no question God wants you to listen to ‘professionals’ who are teaching you, (Proverbs 27:17) He also wants you to recognize that you are foolish if you do not double check what you are told to believe. After all, do you think God wants you to be lead around by what is commonly known as a ‘pigs ring in your nose’? (‘Nose Ring‘) Of course not! Once Born Again, you leave the confines of having been born a ‘Child of Mankind’ and become a ‘Child of God‘. Surely not a pig willing to remain easily lead on any subject… especially the Holy Bible.
